Botulinum toxin has strict dispensing regulations enforced by Medicare and can only be handled by pharmacies with an approved PBS dispensing licence. Epic Pharmacy is an approved botulinum toxin dispenser nominated by your doctor to process prescriptions.
Patients are required to pay a PBS co-payment for this medication. We manage the PBS claim subsidy for this medication on your behalf and are therefore responsible for collecting the associated patient contribution (or co-payment).
