Epic Pharmacy’s dynamic leadership team sees owners Stuart Giles and Cathie Reid in the roles of Executive Chairman and Managing Partner, with Andrew Reid as our CEO.
As co-owner of Epic Pharmacy, Cathie's creative approach to business has led her to be at the forefront of many significant developments in healthcare and pharmacy. She’s also one of the few Australians to be invited to participate in the Google Glass Explorer program.
A strong advocate of digital healthcare, Cathie is excited by the role wearable technology can play in actively engaging society to better manage their own health outcomes. She’s focused on delivering digital solutions which enable a more collaborative and seamless approach to care, with practitioners and patients able to access health information and seek consultation via web-based applications.
Cathie was named one of the Top 100 Women of Influence by The Australian Financial Review in 2013, was recognised by Monash University with a Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement in 2012 and won a National Telstra Business Women's Award in 2011.
Along with her business achievements, Cathie’s also well known as a Brisbane fashionista and was an executive producer of the documentary, Uncovering the Brisbane Look. She’s a a passionate supporter of women in leadership and believes you’re never too young to learn great leadership skills. It was this belief that helped her encourage her daughter Sascha to start the first Girl Up Club in Australia.
In June 2019, Cathie was honoured with a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to healthcare delivery and philanthropy.
